OUR STORY

Aura Hair Boutique began long before the doors officially opened. Niki and Bryn first met in 2013 while working side-by-side here in Nanaimo, and they clicked instantly. From the very beginning, they shared a vision: to create the best salon in Nanaimo.

They started small, in a cozy home-based salon where their shared vision took shape. As their clientele and creativity grew, so did their dream for something bigger. In 2015, they opened their first official location on Bowen Road, a spot that gave them the room to grow and bring more of their ideas to life.

With passion, hard work and a clear vision of the environment they wanted to create, Aura continued to expand. Today, you will find us in our bright North Nanaimo location, our dream salon, surrounded by a talented, ever-growing team that shares our commitment to beautiful hair, good energy and genuine connection.

What started as a shared dream between two stylists has become a space where creativity thrives and clients feel seen, understood and cared for.
